What is one thing you would like to be different in your life today? Polly often begins a counseling session with this question. Her approach is client-centered, focusing on the interests and strengths of each individual, utilizing cognitive-behavioral and possibility therapies to deepen awareness, develop acceptance, and initiate action toward positive life changes.

Credentials

Master of Arts degree from George Fox University, 2003; and a registered counselor with the State of Oregon. She is a member of the American Counseling Association.

Specialty

Sessions include work with adult individuals, couples and groups with issues related to relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, shame, anger, trauma, grief and loss. Polly has extensive experience with developing healthy boundaries related to improved self-esteem. The challenges of living with chronic illness and caregiver stress are of particular interest in her practice.
